What are the related issues with the electrical installation of the encoder?!

Changchun Rongde Optics Co.,Ltd.   Release time:2018-12-07   Browse:1088

First, electrical installation

In the actual application of the site, we will encounter various problems in the installation, including mechanical and electrical aspects. If you do not pay attention to it or do not regulate it, it will affect the normal use and life of the encoder. The following instructions A detailed description of the installation will help us with our application experience.

Second, the electrical interface

Each electrical interface has its own characteristics, and also has different baud rates and transmission distances. It can be selected according to the specific application environment of the site. The actual transmission distance and transmission rate, the installation interference environment of the encoder and communication cable, grounding, and line Cable selection and so on have a lot to do with.

Third, cable wiring

The wires of the encoder should be connected according to the electrical specifications of the parameter table. The unused wires should be insulated or wrapped separately to avoid damage to the encoder due to short circuit with other signals or power lines.

The electrical wiring of the encoder must be carried out with a complete power failure, with a plug or cable plugged in, which can easily damage the encoder.

The supply voltage must be within the rated range. Excessive use of excessive voltage can damage the encoder.

The power supply voltage must be stable and not fluctuating. Do not share power with high-interference components (such as inverters, solenoid valves, contactors) or filter power supplies.

4. Select the cable for proper use for different environments.

(1) Select the tow cable in the towline slot to avoid mechanical damage to the cable and socket

(2) Select the oil-resistant, coolant, and chip-cutting cables on the processing equipment to avoid penetration from the cable patch and encoder housing.

(3) Special shielded cable should be selected for the encoder communication cable

5. When the encoder communication cable is wired, you need to pay attention to:

1. The communication cable must be away from serious magnetic interference devices such as motors, transformers, and inverters.

2. The communication cable must be laid separately from the power cable, high-power cable and high-noise cable. It is best to use a well-shielded metal cable sleeve.

3. Keep the minimum distance between the cabinet and other cables to 2cm, and the distance between the cabinets is 50cmz.

4. If space is limited, use metal partitions, metal sleeves, and metal trunking, and keep grounded.

5. The cable should be properly routed to avoid the cable being too long and the cable trunk is blocked.

6. To avoid coupling interference, the possibility of parallel routing of signal cables and power cables should be minimized.

7. Cables should be placed as close as possible to metal parts, such as control cabinet panels, beams and metal rails.

8. Metal cable brackets must be used and the bracket connections must be connected to ground.

Sixth, component layout

When the encoder is installed in the field, it can't be installed with high-interference source equipment such as inverter, transformer, solenoid valve, etc., keep the distance of 10cm, or add metal partition to isolate. Modules that communicate with the encoder must not be installed with high-interference source components such as inverters, contactors, or frequently-breaking switching components when installed in an electrical cabinet, to maintain a 3cm pitch, or to add metal spacers. To isolate.

Seven, grounding protection

1. The shield of the cable should be grounded at the signal receiving end to prevent the leakage current between the two grounding points from damaging the cable.

2. If the shielded cable of the cable does not achieve good grounding protection, a separate grounding wire is required for shielding.

3. When the grounding is long distance connection, it is necessary to add a yellow-green line between the product casing and the grounding point as the equipotential compensation line.

4. Shielded cables must be connected to the metal enclosure (encoder or cabinet) of the electrical components at both ends and ensure proper connection (large contact with metal surfaces).

The above installation instructions are for your reference in the field installation and maintenance work, to prevent the occurrence of faults as early as possible, and to ensure the normal operation of the encoder.
