How to detect the rotary encoder of CNC equipment?!

Changchun Rongde Optics Co.,Ltd.   Release time:2018-12-19   Browse:1152

A rotary encoder is used to acquire the position feedback signal as long as it requires feedback of the position of the place used.

Rotary encoder detection is an important part of the servo system of CNC machine tools. It plays the role of detecting the displacement and speed of each control axis. It reacts the detected signals back to form a closed loop system.

The measurement method can be divided into direct measurement and indirect measurement: direct measurement is to measure the linear displacement of the machine tool using linear detection components, and direct measurement commonly used detection components usually include: linear induction synchronizer, metrology grating, magnetic scale laser interferometer. Indirect measurement is to measure the linear displacement of the machine tool using rotary type detection components. Indirect measurement commonly used detection components usually include: pulse encoder, resolver, circular induction synchronizer, circular grating and circular magnetic grid.

When the machine tool presents the following symptoms, it should be considered whether it is caused by the detection component:

1.Mechanical oscillation (acceleration / deceleration):

2.Mechanical runaway (speeding):

3. The spindle can not be oriented or oriented in place:

4.The coordinate axis oscillation feed:

5. In the NC alarm, the program is faulty and the operation is caused by an error.
