The function of a pull rope displacement sensor is to convert mechanical movement into electrical signals that can be metered, recorded or transmitted. In operation, the pull rope displacement sensor is installed in a fixed position and the pull rope is tied to the moving object. An internal spring ensures that the tension of the drawstring is constant. The threaded hub rotates the precision rotation sensor to output an electrical signal that is proportional to the travel distance of the drawcord. Measuring the output signal gives the displacement, direction or velocity of the moving object.

Pull rope displacement sensor signal output is divided into digital signal output and analog signal output, digital output type can choose incremental rotary encoder, absolute encoder, the output signal is a square wave ABZ signal, cosine signal, CANopen signal, Free RS485 signal, MODBUS signal, Profibus signal or Gray code / Binary signal. It has long measuring distance (100 ~ 15000mm), high precision (~% FS) and IP65 protection. Enclosures and spools are both corrosion-protected and the towline is a 316 stainless steel cord that can work in harsh environments, including seawater. Optional output methods are: resistance type, voltage type, current type, incremental pulse type, absolute pulse type.

Analog output type can choose precision potentiometer, Hall encoder, absolute encoder, the output signal can be 4-20 mA, 0-5 volts, 0-10 volts and resistance signals, the maximum stroke can reach 12500 mm , The use of the environment up to IP65 protection level, -45 ℃ ~ +105 ℃ wide temperature environment.
