Heavy duty overload encoder!

In order to adapt to more harsh industrial environments, Heavy duty overload encoder encoders have been specially developed. Compared with the traditional industrial encoder, overloading encoder has stronger ability in shock resistance and vibration, and their shell can also adapt to the harsh environment.

Overloading encoder generally adopt magnetic resistance magnetic reluctance technology to achieve a higher stability. Magnetic encoders overcome the shortcomings of traditional photoelectric encoders in principle to ensure the reliable operation in overload situations. If they are using optical principle, the discs must also be made of materials that are not broken, typically metal or BOPET materials. In order to meet the application of high power motors in structure, overloading encoder is generally designed with a large aperture, and can be installed directly on all kinds of motor end face. Thermal isolation and electrical isolation are generally required for shaft protection.Detection principle of magnetic encoder rely mainly on the change of the magnetic field, so the pollutants such as water, oil and dust will not have any influence on it, and there is a certain gap between the pulse wheel and the sensor , and the non-contact will not cause any wear.

Due to the harsh environment of heavy duty industries such as metallurgy, papermaking and port machinery, it has the characteristics of high temperature and humidity, oil dust, impact and vibration. The traditional photoelectric encoder is limited by the glass code disc. The large impact and vibration may cause the code wheel to break. If the seal is not good, the water dust and oil will enter the encoder and cause the error. The device is invalid. For heavy-duty applications, it is generally operated continuously for 24 hours, requiring high reliability. The encoder acts as a core feedback device. Once a fault occurs, the entire equipment and even the production line will be shut down, resulting in a huge loss. Therefore, overload encoders are particularly suitable for applications in the metallurgy, paper, woodworking machinery, heavy machinery and other industries.
