Encoder interference solution!

  • Isolation measures:
    Isolation is a technical measure to destroy the interference path and cut off the coupling channel to achieve interference suppression.
  • Insulation isolation of the encoder installation:
    In the case of large motors and inverters, if there is a problem with interference, in this case, it is recommended that the encoder housing (including the shaft of the encoder) be insulated from the motor housing.
  • Encoder power supply:
    Choose an encoder with wide operating power and signal short-circuit protection. Many encoders interfere with fluctuations in their power supply and the destruction of the power supply 0V reference.
  • Signal Cable Selection:
    Choose a professional encoder-specific twisted-pair shielded cable, not only to protect the internal circuit of the encoder, the signal transmission cable of the encoder, and the external extended signal cable need to have ultra-fine high-density and high-conductivity metal wire weaving. The shielding protective layer can absorb the high-frequency electromagnetic field changes of the external radiation, thereby shielding and protecting.
  • Reverse channel:
    The reverse channel is used to increase the transmission distance of the signal and additionally output the inverted signals of the A, B and Z channels.
  • Signal selection of the incremental encoder:
    The output signal with the inverting channel should be selected. The encoder with wide power supply and polarity, short circuit protection function is not easy to damage and the signal transmission can achieve interference-free transmission.
  • Electromagnetic shielding:
    The electromagnetic shielding is also made of a conductive material and made of a different shape such as a shield cover and a shielding box, and the protected circuit is surrounded therein.
     
  • Electrostatic shielding:
    Electrostatic shielding is to make a closed metal casing made of a metal with good electrical conductivity such as copper or aluminum, and is connected to the ground wire, and the encoder circuit that needs to be shielded is placed therein, so that the external electric field of the electric field does not affect the interior circuit.
